E-mail to Amy December 1, 2013

Amy thank you so much for the Christmas package!! I haven't opened them all yet but have opened the two you said to open on the first and those are very clever of you to make for me thanks! I'll enjoy them.

My flat is new and really nice P days we play basketball, hike, and everything pretty much. The schedule of waking up....ahhhhhhhh HARD! But fun. Thanks to seminary I'm not so bad at waking up. Sure do love hearing from you and that you have that picture of me, miss you tons and still think about you and the fam.

We don't ride our bikes very much but we do walk all over the place though, its a pretty big neighborhood but lots of people to see and talk to. They honk, and wave in their cars or walking on the side walk when they see us, they love elders here especially the ward families. They feed us loads like unbelievably loads of foood!!! I'm going to have to loosen my belt or something because I can not eat this much! It's a good thing the zone leaders and I work out a lot. I've met two of the best guys here- their names are Ray and Scott, both 19 years of age and funny to hang around with. Both started bad in their life but are now wanting to go on missions and getting ready. Both come and do trade offs with us. I'll have to send you a picture soon- I promise they are legit!!! Oh I mean pretty rad guys.

They don't celebrate Thanksgiving here but they do feed us which means Thanksgiving is every day!

What a blessing it is for me to be your little brother. There's not a day I don't think and thank Heavenly Father for giving me the opportunity to be in a loving family! I miss you! We get to talk on Christmas day on the phone so that will be very exciting!!

love Elder Thorpe aka your little brother *hugs*
